Urban living can be noisy, especially in a large and vibrant city like Barcelona. Over the last 4 years, the administration used 88 sound meters to collect noise data in decibels. This exhibition, which resulted from the aggregate data of 20 locations around the city, provided the public with four sets of data analysis that illuminate noise pollution in four different ways. Sound Stories, a projection of sound and street data using Google Maps, is one such analysis that connects the abstract data with the human environment.
